Once you have all three pieces, you can also get the Fierce Deity Sword.

How to Get the Fierce Deity Armor Set in ToTK

The easiest way to get the Fierce Deity Armor Set, one of the best armors in Tears of the Kingdom, is to scan the Majora's Mask Link amiibo until you get all pieces. Otherwise, you can find them in treasure chests if you know where to look. If you did the side quest Misko's Cave of Chests to get the Ember Trousers in Eldin, you would have been led to a new quest: Misko's Treasure: The Fierce Deity. The old letter found includes clues to find the pieces:

  • Beneath the bedchamber of Akkala's red-crowned citadel.
  • In the skull's left eye.
  • In an old stump in Hyrule Field.

Found all three Fierce Deity armor pieces, but the Misko's Treasure: The Fierce Deity quest is not marked complete? That's because you got one or more of them from an amiibo scan. In order to achieve completion status, you have to have found the armor by finding them in the wild.

But, you can just look at this map, watch the video above, or read the complete walkthroughs below to find the Fierce Deity Armor Set and Fierce Deity Sword.

To get the chest piece, you'll need to get to the Akkala Citadel Ruins on the South Akkala Plains. It's just north of the chasm entrance and by the Domizuin Shrine. Just be careful on your approach as there is a Thunder Gleeok nearby.

In the Akkala Citadel Ruins' southwest side you'll find a room blocked by unmovable rubble.

Walk around the side of it and you'll see a hole in the wall. Be careful exploring this area. Gloom Hands roam the interior of the Akkala Citadel Ruins.

Crouch and enter the room and you'll find a hole in the ground. Drop down. You'll discover the Akkala Citadel Ruins Summit Cave.

Inside is one of the ornate carriages with a treasure chest in it (chest location: 3299, 1492, 0395). Open it to find the Fierce Deity Armor.

The Bubbulfrog in this cave is to the right of the treasure behind some crates. Destroy them and crouch through the hole to get the Bubbul Gem. To exit, warp to a shrine or Skyview tower.

Fierce Deity Mask

To get the Fierce Deity Mask head towards Skull Lake, which is in Deep Akkala, northeast of Death Mountain. You’ll need to drop down into the high rock pillar on the right of the skull. To do this go up and around to the northeast of the lake, where you’ll find a rocky ledge you can jump off and glide over to the pillar.

Drop down inside the hole to Skull Lake cave, using the glider to cushion your landing at the bottom. A couple of Stalkoblin’s lurk at the bottom – either fight them or run past, deeper into the cave. Another three are waiting in a trench a little further up – glide past to avoid a fight.

The next part of the cave is blocked by boulders. Either use bomb arrows to clear the way or fuse one of the rocks with a weapon to smash your way through.

Behind the wall is a bunch of Stalkoblins, a Stalmoblin and a Stalnox. Take them on if you’re feeling brave, or alternatively run towards the moss-covered mound in the middle and climb to the top. There you’ll find a chest containing the Fierce Deity Mask (chest location: 3429, 3298, -0125).

Once it’s yours, exit the cave by warping to another location.

Fierce Deity Boots

You can find the Fierce Deity boots by heading towards the west of Hyrule Field, specifically to the Ancient Tree Stump north of Mount Daphnes. Make your way to the tree stump by crossing the wooden bridge, then drop down inside to the Ancient Tree Stump cave.

A lot of the cave is filled with water and is a tangled mess of roots. Watch out for the Like Like attached to one of the roots and the bats flapping around. There’s also a Bubbulfrog here - kill it to get a Bubbul Gem.

On the south side of the cave is an opening covered with roots – cut through them with a sword to move onto the next area.

Drop down into the water, grabbing the Glow Fish while you’re there, then climb up the big root in the middle. There’s a ledge halfway up – take a moment for your stamina to regen before continuing to climb. Keep climbing until you reach another room, which again contains an opening blocked by roots.

Cut through them to find the chest, inside which are the Fierce Deity Boots (chest location: -1107, -0545, 0035). Once you’ve got them, warp to another location to exit the cave.

Fierce Deity Sword

To get the Fierce Deity Sword you need to have the full Fierce Deity armor set equipped, so the armor, the mask and the boots.

Head to the cave north of the Foothill Stable, just past the Kisinona Shrine. Two explorers, Prissen and Domidak, will stop you when you try to enter the cave. Once they’ve finished talking, enter the cave and head towards the back.

If you’re wearing all three parts of the Fierce Deity armor, a door will open, revealing another area of the cave and, crucially, a chest. Open it to get the Fierce Deity sword (chest location: 2617, 1418, 0135).
