Snowquill Armor Set

The Snowquill Set is a returning set of Armor in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It features a feather-lined warm outfit that provides moderate defense, and can increase cold resistance in icy climates, and can be bought from various merchants in Hyrule. In addition to their individual effects, upgrading the entire set to level 2 will make Link unfreezable.

Snowquill Set

The Snowquill Outfit is comprised of three armor pieces:

Snowquill Headdress - Head Gear (Base Defense 3, Sell Value - 150)
Snowquill Tunic - Body Gear (Base Defense 3, Sell Value - 140)
Snowquill Trousers - Leg Gear (Base Defense 3, Sell Value - 250)

The Snowquill Armor Set can be dyed at the Hateno Dye Shop, and it can also be upgraded at the Great Fairy Fountains.

Where to Find the Snowquill Outfit Set in TotK

The Snowquill Outfit can be purchased as soon after you arrive in Rito Village that is under the effects of the Regional Phenomena. You can purchase it at the Brazen Beak shop from Kheel while the blizzard is still active, or from Nekk once the Wind Temple has been cleared for the same price:

Snowquill Headdress - 650 Rupees
Snowquill Tunic - 500 Rupees
Snowquill Trousers - 1,000 Rupees

The Snowquill Tunic can also be purchased for the same price at Mubs' Shop in Lookout Landing, but only after you've completed the Wind Temple and returned to the settlement.

Snowquill Set Armor Upgrades

After you find and unlock the Great Fairy Fountains in Hyrule, you can bring them ingredients and a donation of rupees to increase the armor value of each piece of armor. All pieces of the Snowquill Armor Set will require the same materials to upgrade each. See the table below for the ingredients needed and defense bonus you can gain for each piece of armor.

Upgrading each piece to level 2 will unlock the Set Bonus: Unfreezable, making it impossible for Link to be frozen by any ice-based attack or element.
