Official Description: "Flightless birds that are thought to have roamed all over Hyrule back when it had more grasslands. They resist cold but don't do well in hot climates because of their thick body covering. They're very alert and often turn their attention from the grass to look around."

Where to Find Forest Ostriches
Interestingly, Forest Ostriches are only found in the Sky Isles. They bound around aimlessly and awkwardlyin the small grasslands afforded to them by the Sky Isles; somehow always expertly avoiding the edge.

Tips for Hunting Forest Ostriches
Unlike other birds, Forest Ostriches are land animals that don't disappear after being spooked. If you get too close to one, it does a goofy jump and gracelessly lopes away. One hit with a ranged weapon usually takes them down but it is possible to chase them down for a melee strike.
