Purah Pad
The Purah Pad is a vital tool that will assist you in navigating the mysterious lands of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Like the Sheikah Slate from Breath of the Wild, the Purah Pad is a multi-purpose Key Item obtained at the start of the game that can be used to view the Adventure Log, Map, and Album. As you progress through the game and complete Main Quests, you'll also unlock new features like the ability to Fast Travel to specific locations, view Character Profiles, and more.
When you first get the Purah Pad, you'll instantly gain access to vital information such as your current location, Quest Waypoints, Map Coordinates, Time of Day, and the current Temperature. It can also serve as a Scope that will allow you to Zoom In and Pin Markers on distant locations to help you navigate to your destinations.

How to Get the Purah Pad in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
After your first skydive at the start of the game, you will land in a small lake near an ancient-looking Stone Archway during a main quest on the Great Sky Island - Find Princess Zelda. From there, you'll need to swim ashore and take a short trip down the path leading to the Steward Construct that will give you the incredibly helpful Purah Pad.
Location
- Garden of Time
Firstly, after landing in the small lake at the start of the game, swim toward the Stone Archway near the shore, climbing atop the large green lily pads to recharge your stamina if it gets low.
Once you're at the foot of the Stone Archway, you will find stone steps leading down to a Stone Path between many yellow trees. Head down the Stone Steps and follow the Stone Path, which leads to the right.
Near the end of the Stone Path, you'll find a green and white helmet-shaped Construct near a small ruin. Approach it and then Press A to examine it to reveal a friendly Steward Construct, who will give you the Purah Pad and some information about the area. And just like that, you're all set to begin your adventure in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom!
