The Lynel Mask in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a new piece of armor that can only be acquired by collecting collecting Bubbul Gems and giving them to Koltin. When wearing the Lynel Mask, Link can approach a Lynel unnoticed -- for a short time. Lynels will take notice, eventually, unlike the stupider monsters and their respective masks. Monsters other than Lynels will recognize and attack him, though. Link puffs his chest up in a Lynel pose while wearing this mask.

Lynel Mask

How to Get the Horriblin Mask

You can only get this monster mask after finding Koltin, Kilton's brother, and completing his first quest. You'll need to have given him 37 Bubbul Gems total to unlock the Lynel Mask. The Lynel Mask is the twelfth item you'll get to unlock from Koltin after he's set up his traveling monster balloon stand. See all the Bubbul Gem items rewards in order here.

If you haven't unlocked Koltin's shop, their quest begins with a Side Adventure called The Hunt for Bubbul Gems! which begins north of Pico Pond in Eldin. You'll find Kilton waiting for his brother outside a cave.

Successfully giving Koltin his first Bubbul Gem awards you the Bokoblin Mask and another quest called The Search for Koltin. Find Koltin the first time out in Hyrule to clear that second quest.

Finding Bubbul Gems and BubbulfrogsThere is one Bubbulfrog in every cave. You'll know if you've found the cave's Bubbulfrog by checking your map. If the cave entrance icon has a small checkmark, that means you've successfully found and slain the cave's Bubbulfrog. The Bubbulfrog are often hiding in their own inlet in the cave that can be hidden around a dark corner, up on a high wall, or behind rocks or other obstructions.
