You can get Shard of Naydra's Fang by shooting an arrow at the mouth of the large frosty sky dragon that soars above the Necluda region, the spirit of ice known as Naydra.

Tips for Getting Shard of Naydra's Fang
- The Paraglider, Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower, Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower, and flying Zonai Vehicles are highly useful for reaching Naydra.
- Naydra makes the air surrounding it frigid, and standing on it causes unbearable cold. Bring some Cold resistant armor or recipes to mitigate the damage.
- The best place to try to hitch a ride on Naydra is as it emerges from the aptly named Naydra Snowfield Chasm near the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower.
- Strike Naydra's Mouth with an arrow to knock a Shard of Naydra's Fang loose.
- When knocked loose, Shard of Naydra's Fang will rest momentarily before falling. Grab the fang quickly if possible—otherwise, you may need to skydive after it.
- You can strike Naydra once every ten minutes for fangs and parts.
Shard of Naydra's Fang Uses
Shard of Naydra's Fang is essential for upgrading helpful armor, such as the Fierce Deity Armor Set and Tunic of the Wild at Great Fairy Fountains, and is useful for weapon fusions and arrow attachments.
When fused with weapons and shields, Shard of Naydra's Fang increases attack power and freezes monsters with attacks and shield parries. Any weapon fused with Shard of Naydra's Fang will no longer be sharp or hammer-like, so attacks using this material for fusion will only be effective against unarmored monsters. These fangs can also be attached to arrows to grant your next shot an attack power bonus and the ability to deliver a large blast of freezing ice from a distance.
Shard of Naydra's Fang can also be cooked into dish recipes to slightly increase heart recovery and effect duration or used to dye your armor light blue at the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village.
