Molduga
The Molduga mini-boss can be found in several places across the Gerudo Desert in Tears of the Kingdom. We found one in the Toruma Dunes in the southeast corner of the map. We’ll show you the strategies and techniques we used to take down this menacing mini-boss.
Be sure to have a bow, some arrows, Bomb Flowers to fuse with, and a handful of sturdy melee weapons in your inventory to take it down.

How to Easily Defeat Molduga
If you haven't encountered a Molduga yet, it's a predatory beast that hides in the sand and is attracted to sound. The easiest way to take it out is to find a rocky island or solid area in the sand and use it as a base.
Shoot an arrow with a sound-producing attachment fused to it at the nearby sand (within close distance to your protective rock). You can use bombs, of course, but even Brightbloom Seeds do the trick.
After you've shot the ground, the nearby Molduga will go to the location -- a question mark indicating that the creature has heard the sound. It will then leap out of the sand into the air trying to swallow up its presumed prey. This is your queue: fire a bomb arrow at the exposed belly of the creature and it'll come crashing down to the ground.
Run over to its head and strike at it with a powerful weapon repeatedly. Retreat to safety when it wakes up and repeat the process until the beast is defeated.
