The exact coordinates of Zauz Island Well are 1466, -0139, -0015.
Recommended Gear
If you know you’re going to come face-to-face with a Stalnox, you should bring the following gear with you:
- A strong bow- Arrows- Keese eyes- A strong melee weapon- Gloom resistance if you are going up against a Stalnox in the Depths
How to Defeat a Stalnox in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The best way to take down a Stalnox is to keep your distance and hit its eye with an arrow. This will make the Stalnox fall to the ground, giving you the perfect opportunity to run in and start attacking it with your strongest melee weapon. Repeat this process a few times, and the Stalnox will fall.
Stalnox are relatively fast, so if you find yourself struggling to hit it in the eye, you can always fuse a Keese eyeball to your arrows to help you hone in on your target.
Sometimes when you hit a Stalnox in the eyeball, it will fall right out of its socket and roll along the ground. If that happens, focus all of your attacks on the eyeball itself rather than the Stalnox’s body.
Alternative Strategy
While incapacitating the Stalnox by hitting it in the eye is the safest way to take one down, they are still vulnerable to melee attacks. If you have more of a guns-blazing sort of attack style, running in and slashing at the Stalnox’s ankles also does the trick.
Attack Patterns
Stalnox cycle through a range of different attacks during battle. Most of their moves are the same ones that Hinox use, like swiping at you with their hands and trying to sit on you. The Stalnox does have a unique move of its own, however.
Stalnox can rip their ribs off their bodies and throw them at you. This does make them more efficient at long-range combat, but you can dodge them relatively easily.
Stalnox Item Drops
Stalnox drop the following items upon defeat:
- Stalnox Horn: +29 attack- Hinox Tooth
