  • There's a Treasure Octorock in the Gerudo Highlands just south of the Otutsum Shrine. If you don't already have that Shrine, the fastest way to get there is to paraglide down from the Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower.

Tips for Fighting Treasure Octorocks

As soon as you get too close to a Treasure Octorock--regardless of your Stealth--it will pop out of the ground and begin running around in circles. It'll then run off in a direction and burrow into the ground where it'll disappear. If you miss your chance, you'll have to wait for the next Blood Moon to try again.

Here are a few ways to defeat a Treasure Octorock before they disappear:

  • Throw a White Chuchu Jelly at them to freeze them in place.
  • Fire an arrow with a Keese Eye to home in on them.
  • Set up an elaborate contraption involving Construct Heads and Beam Emitters that will automatically target them as soon as they pop out.
