Ancient Blades Below
The side quest Ancient Blades Below is given to Link at the Spirit Temple, which requires progressing through most of the main campaign.
Once you have unlocked the Spirit Temple as a destination in the Depths, fast-travel to it and enter the building.

Walk to the far end of the underground temple to find a Mining Construct to the right of the Fifth Sage. The Construct is easily recognized since it features a quest marker and is saying "I need more materials."
Talk to the Construct and you will receive the new quest, which teaches you that you can come back to the Spirit Temple anytime to trade for a powerful Ancient Blade, a blade that when fused to an arrow can one-shot non-boss enemies. The price for the Ancient Blade trade: 50 Zonaite. Collect the coveted materials in the Depths by smashing deposits or seeking out abandoned mines, then return.
The quest will be marked complete after the first trade, but you can come back for additional Ancient Blades. Outside of an amiibo scan, the Spirit Temple Mining Construct is the best way to get additional Ancient Blades, so remember this location or mark it with an icon of your choice on your map.
