Walton's Treasure Hunt

The Korok on top of the Lost Woods' Deku Tree is about to send you on a treasure hunt. If you manage to find this little Korok's hidden weapons, you can keep the items for yourself.

Here's how to complete Walton's Treasure Hunt in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Walton's Treasure Hunt Walkthrough

To start Walton's treasure hunt, you need to speak with Walton at the top of the Deku Tree, in the middle of the Korok Woods. To unlock this quest, make sure you've traversed the Lost Woods and cleared the forest of gloom by defeating the Phantom Ganon mini-boss underneath the Deku Tree.

To reach Walton, walk inside the Deku Tree and use your Ascend ability, which will take you into a Secret Room. If you haven't done so already, you may pick up The Secret Room side quest here. Use Ascend once more to reach the top of the tree.

You need to find the Forest Dweller's Sword and the Forest Dweller's Spear first. The sword is on the wall directly behind Walton (see picture above).

The spear is also very close to Walton's position. Turn your back to Walton, then look at the wall to your left, behind the tree (see picture above).

With both weapons in your pocket, return to Walton to hear about the Forest Dweller's Shield. Glide down to the Deku Tree's entrance, and you'll find the shield just above the doorway.

Speak to Walton again to complete Walton's Treasure Hunt. On top of the Forest Dweller's Sword, Spear, and Shield, he'll reward you with the Forest Dweller's Bow.
