Where to find the Armor of the Wild Set

Click the links below to be taken straight to a certain piece:

  • Cap of the Wild
  • Tunic of the Wild
  • Trousers of the Wild

Finding each piece of the Armor of the Wild requires delving into the Depths beneath Hyrule. If you’re not familiar with the Depths yet, check out our Depths guide so you know what to expect down there!

Where to Find the Cap of the Wild

Each piece of the Wild Set is lurking within the skull of one of the three Dark Skeletons in the Depths. In the case of the Cap of the Wild, you can find it in the Hebra Dark Skeleton.

Cap of the Wild coordinates: -3956, 3723, -0858.

The Hebra Dark Skeleton is right at the top of the map in the Hebra region. The easiest way to get there is to fast-travel to the Muotue Lightroot and make your way west from there.

If you haven’t unlocked the Muotue Lightroot yet, the Kato Lightroot in the very northwest corner of the map is another great option.

You can see the Skeleton from the Lightroot, so you don’t have to travel far. Muotue Lightroot coordinates: -3507, 3569, -0826.

The Dark Skeletons in the Depths are guarded by Horroblin’s and Gloom Hands if you’re unlucky enough to stumble too close to their path, so make sure you take lots of arrows and fire weapons to take care of those two foes.

Once you reach the Hebra Dark Skeleton, start making your way up the spine until you reach the skull. There, sitting on the bottom jaw of the Hebra Dark Skeleton, is the chest containing the Cap of the Wild.

Where to Find the Tunic of the Wild

  • Tunic of the Wild Coordinates: -4879, -3720, -0458

The Tunic of the Wild can be found in the far southwestern corner of The Depths, within a chest in the Gerudo Dark Skeleton area. If you're an experienced Depths explorer and you've activated the Kasari or Gataharak Lightroots, fast-travel to either Lightroot, then head west to reach the Gerudo Dark Skeleton.

If you haven't done much underground exploration, launch yourself from the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, then head due south to reach the East Gerudo Chasm. Before jumping into the East Gerudo Chasm, be aware that you'll be diving straight into a Frox's den, so equip your best weapons or be prepared to outrun the beast. Once the Frox has been dealt with, head south and activate the Amakawis Lightroot to update your Depths map.

  • Gataharak Lightroot Coordinates: -3728, -3624, -0494

From the Amakawis Lightroot, trek southwest until you reach the Gataharak Lightroot. Activate the Lighroot to make it a valid fast-travel point and update your map, then continue marching west. Soon, you'll discover the Gerudo Underground Cemetary.

  • Kasari Lightroot Coordinates: -4158, -3826, -0478

When you reach the cemetery, head southwest and activate the Kasari Lightroot to reveal the area where the Tunic of the Wild is found.

From here, travel west past the Desert Coliseum, and when you start noticing giant skeletons, follow them westward to find the skull pictured above.

Walk underneath the skull, defeat the Horriblins in the area, then climb up to the chest to collect the Tunic of the Wild!

Where to Find the Trousers of the Wild

The Trousers of the Wild coordinates: 1674, 3723, -0561.

The Trousers of the Wild are hidden in the skull of the Eldin Dark Skeleton. The easiest way to get there is to fast-travel to the Kayam Lightroot and make your way east until you come across the great skeleton. The skeleton is visible from the Lightroot, so you shouldn’t have to travel far.

Kayam Lightroot coordinates: 1267, 3732, -0553.

Once you reach the Eldin Dark Skeleton, make your way up the spine to the skull. Horroblins are guarding the skeleton, as well as some nasty Gloom Hands, so make sure you stock up on arrows to take them down. Thankfully, the temperature around the Eldin Dark Skeleton is so hot that it turns all of your arrows into fire arrows.

Fire is the Gloom Hand’s weakness, so find high ground on one of the bones and hit each of the eyes with fire arrows before going in with a fire-based weapon.

As you approach the skull, you will see a chest containing the Trousers of the Wild sitting on the bottom jaw of the ancient beast.
