Blue Hinox

The Blue Hinox is an overworld miniboss in Tears of the Kingdom. One step up in both rarity and difficulty from the Hinox, you can also find Blue Hinox in the deepest corners of the Depths.

Blue Hinoxes are giant cyclopses that can deal high damage by tossing objects, swiping, or even sitting on their enemies. Their weak point is the single, big eye in the middle of their oversized heads. Fire an arrow at the eye and the Hinox will fall down and can be attacked easily without fear of taking damage. Keese Eyeballs can help add homing capabilities to arrows to make it easier to hit the eye. Repeat this attack procedure to take down the Hinox.

In addition to the dropping its Blue Hinox Horn once defeated (which has a Fuse Attack Power 19), the Blue Hinox also has a chance to drop a variety of different "roasted" Fish and any weapons that might have been attached to its necklace (including Royal weapons).

Blue Hinox Locations

There are eight Blue Hinox that can be found on the Surface throughout Hyrule. There are also an additional seven Blue Hinox located in The Depths in Tears of the Kingdom, most of which can be found in the area surrounding Tobio's Hollow Chasm.
