The Yiga Mask is found between Mount Hylia and Lake Hylia, in a Yiga Clan cabin surrounded by wooden spikes (Old Man's Cabin from BOTW). To get to this Yiga Clan cabin, launch off the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower, then glide due south to land in the Great Plateau. From the Great Plateau, continue south past the Temple of Time Ruins, and you'll soon discover the Yiga Clan cabin pictured above.

The Yiga Tights are in the Yiga Clan Maritta Branch which is located in an Aldor Foothills cave just west of the Great Hyrule Forest, at the southern base of Mount Drena. If you’ve discovered the Kiuyoyou Shrine on the way to Rito Village, fast-travel to the shrine, then head straight east. Otherwise, launch from Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower or the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower before gliding toward the Aldor Foothills. If you begin to notice trios of stone statues, you're headed in the right direction.

Enter the cave, defeat the Yiga Clan members waiting inside, then search for the set of square-shaped stone tablets pictured above. These tablets are in the main area, where you dispatched the Yiga. Once you've located the square, look upward to find a hidden passage. Use Ascend to climb up to the secret area, and you'll find the Yiga Tights!

The final step in unlocking the Lightning Helm is to complete the Yiga Blademaster's three challenges. To learn more about these challenges, reference the chart below:

Yiga Blademaster Challenges

Challenge

Description

Reward

1

Defeat three combatants.

Yiga Clan Paraglider Fabric

2

Defeat six combatants.

Earthwake Manual

3

Defeatr nine combatants.

Lightning Helm

Though your first challenge attempt is free, every subsequent attempt will cost you 100 Rupees. Because of this, it's wise to gear up with high-damage weapons, arrows, and resources before taking on these challenges. Each challenge must be completed in different rounds, meaning that you will not have the chance to defeat nine Yiga Clan members on your first attempt. Instead, you'll need to complete the three challenges individually, which will ultimately cost you a minimum of 200 Rupees.

After defeating nine Yiga combatants in the third and final challenge, you'll be rewarded with the Lightning Helm!

Lightning Helm Upgrades

The Lightning Helm cannot be dyed in Hateno Village or upgraded at Great Fairy Fountains, and it's fairly unique in that it also cannot be sold to merchants.
