Where to Find Mighty Bananas in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

You can find high concentrations of Mighty Bananas growing in bunches on small banana trees with large green leaves in the tropical forest around Lake Floria and the Floria Falls area, which is located southwest of the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower. You can also find Mighty Bananas on the highly remote Eventide Island, off the southeast coast of Hyrule.

If you make your way to the Lakeside Stable or Joju-u-u Shrine near Lake Floria, you can find a high concentration of at least twenty-eighty Banana trees marked by the yellow leaf icons on the map above. Collecting these bananas will net you around eighty-four Mighty Bananas per full respawn, and with a quick interaction with the Joju-u-u Shrine, you will have a convenient fast-travel point for return visits to restock.

Tips for Finding Mighty Bananas

  • While exploring the Tropical areas in search of Mighty Bananas, it can be helpful to come prepared with shock-resistant Rubber Armor or shock-resistance foods due to the number of Electric Lizalfos that dwell in the area.
  • Unlock the Camera and Sensor+ upgrades for your Purah Pad so you can snap a photo of a Mighty Banana to add them to your Hyrule Compendium. Once you've done that, you can target Mighty Bananas with the Purah Pad sensor, and it will ping you as you close in on their locations.

Mighty Bananas Uses

Mighty Bananas are incredibly useful for cooking damage-boosting foods that will grant you incredible might when consumed. You can achieve higher ranks of damage boost by increasing the Mighty Bananas you cook together. One banana will give you a slight damage boost, three will provide a moderate boost, and four or five Mighty Bananas will grant a significant damage boost. Other uses include placing the bananas on the occasional Korok offering plate in tropical regions or going to the Hateno Dye Shop to give your outfits a splash of yellow color.
