Open the Door

Open the Door is a short side quest found in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Tabantha Frontier, specifically just southwest of the Tabantha Hills. You'll spot a cabin with smoke coming out of its chimney and three Bokoblin standing around their own fire not far off.

  • Quest Giver: Jogo and Yammo
  • Prerequisite: None
  • Reward: Spicy Elixir

If you go to the east side of the cabin you can peek into a slit in the wall to see two travelers, Jogo and Yammo, lamenting their poor situation. Upon doing so you'll get the quest name added to your list, but it's entirely optional.

Defeat the three Bokoblins (watch out, one is packing white chuchu jelly that'll freeze you in an instant!) then go to the door.

Jogo and Yammo notice the monsters are no longer making noise (RIP) and promptly unlock the door, allowing Link to enter. They tell their story and give a Spicy Elixir in thanks. They'll also explain shield surfing.
