Royal Guard Set

The Royal Guard Set is a returning armor set from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and acquiring it is much more of a breeze in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, unlike its previous iteration. However, it's pieces are not quite outstanding to the naked eye either, as the various parts reside deep within the intricate rooms of gloom-infested Hyrule Castle.

This attire will have Link traveling Hyrule in a stylish and apparel. It features the Royal Guard Uniform, Royal Guard Boots, and the Royal Guard Cap. This armor set includes a bonus effect of decreasing the stamina used by charged attacks.

The Royal Guard Set can not be dyed at the Hateno Dye Shop, but can be upgraded at the Great Fairy Fountains.

Fortunately, all of the pieces of the Royal Guard can be found Hyrule Castle. However, they will be scattered across different parts of the castle, so you will have to do a little bit of walking and paragliding along the way. If you are looking for it early in the game, make sure to have at least the paraglider, in order to reach the highest rooms of the castle. Other than that, you won't need to worry about getting any high-end equipment to defeat big bad bosses.

The Royal Guard Uniform can be found within the Guard's Chamber. To access it, go through a series of gates found near the First Gatehouse.

Use Ultrahand to move the two gates up and access the inside of the castle.

Go up the stairs to the Guard's Chambers and the treasure will be on a platform surrounded by gloom. If you have enough hearts, or you already have gloom resistance armor, such as the Dark Set, force your way to the gloom infested floor and use ascend on the wooden ceiling to get to the treasure.

Otherwise, you can go the next wooden ceiling next to the one that ascends you right next to the treasure and use Ultrahand to move the nearby wooden plank and avoid the gloom infested platform o reach the treasure.

The Royal Guard Boots are located inside the King's Study hidden in the library inside Hyrule Castle. Fast-travel to Serutabomac Shrine on the northeastern end of Hyrule Castle. There is an entrance into Hyrule Castle right underneath the shrine. Drop down to it and enter and follow the stairs to a large library.

The King's Study is hidden behind a moveable piece of wall where the bookshelves are, on the northern wall. Use Ultrahand to reveal the wall and move it to reveal the King's Study. Note: there are other movable bookcases. You can find a Dinraal's Shard behind the eastern wall opening.

The Royal Guard Cap is located in Princess Zelda's Room which is in a separate tower from the main castle. The room can be accessed paragliding to the tower in which the room is located and using ascend two floors up to arrive faster.

The treasure is hidden behind a floor room divider.
