Where to Find Sundelions in Zelda TotK

Sundelions can be found on the surface growing around fallen pieces of the islands above, but they are primarily found in the Sky Archipelagos. The best place to search for them is in the South Eldin Sky Archipelago and the North Necluda Sky Archipelago. Those two spots have a very high concentration of Sundelions, but they can still be found on other Sky Islands as well.

If you're looking for Sundelions on the surface, the fallen pieces around Hudson's Construction Site are a great place to look. If you're in the Depths, check the crates found in Yiga Camps. They hoard a fair amount down there. But if you're really desperate for some Sundelions, the Sky Islands are definitely the best place to look.

For the highest concentration of Sundelions, head to the South Eldin Sky Archipelago. Start from the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower. Activate it, and it'll shoot you right up on top of a collection of small islands connected by a rail system. Each of these tiny islands have a few Sundelions each.

Once you've exhausted that spot, head to the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower and launch yourself up to the North Necluda Sky Archipelago. Investigate each of the small islands in this area to find a handful more Sundelions.

While those two Sky Archipelagos have the most Sundelions, they can be found on most Sky Islands, so keep your eyes peeled whenever you're up there. Sundelions are an orange-yellow color and blend in with the surroundings up there, so they are easy to miss!

Sundelions, like all materials, will respawn randomly while you're away from the spawn point. So, check back periodically for more - just waiting for days to pass at a fire won't do it.

Sundelion Use - Sundelion Recipes

Sundelions can be cooked in a cooking pot to make meals that heal you from Gloom in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Gloom is a dangerous substance that reduces your maximum hearts when you make contact with it, which can be very detrimental. Having a good stash of Sunny food made with Sundelions is the best way to combat this phenomenon, so make sure you collect as many of these rare flowers as you can! Especially if you are planning on exploring the Depths any time soon.

If you want a meal to both restore your broken heart containers and fill them back up with health, you will need to cook the Sundelions with plain health-restoring materials like meat or vegetables that you will find throughout your travels. Raw Gourmet Meat that is dropped by animals like Rhino, Moose, and Bear offer the best healing properties, but any meat will do.
