They do hunt other beasts and small animals, but more often turn their sights on people. They're a threat to anyone traveling through the desert."

Tips for Hunting Wasteland Coyotes
Wasteland Coyotes always attack on sight, but they're just as cautious as their cousins. If you defeat one Wasteland Coyote, the others will flee. They don't have much health, but their attacks can be surprisingly deadly if you aren't well-armored.
