Where to Find a Zora Spear
The Zora Spear is a two-handed spear weapon found in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The Zora made this spear with a special material that increases the weapon's attack power whenever you get it wet. It is a crucial ingredient in obtaining the Lightscale Trident, a powerful spear weapon which you can get by completing complete the Glory of the Zora Side Quest.
If you want to stock up on Zora Spears - either to craft the Lightscale Trident or as a base for cool Fuse Weapons - we've got the information you need on the Zora Spear and the best location to find one in a pinch.

Where to Find a Zora Spear
The two best ways to quickly acquire a Zora Spear are:
- Complete the Mired in Muck quest
- Defeat the Lizalfo outside Tabahl Woods Cave
The Zora Spear weapon can generally be found in the Lanayru Wetlands and in Upland Zorana. Zora Spears are wielded by Lizalfos enemies, commonly found in Zora's Domain and its surrounding regions. The best location to find a Zora Spear is the Tabahl Woods Cave, found near the road that follows the Zora River into Zora's Domain.
If you complete the Mired in Muck quest, Bazz will give you a Zora Spear as a reward. If you haven’t held onto the Zora Spear reward (or if you broke it... whoops), we recommend checking in the Tabahl Woods Cave, southwest of Zora’s Domain, or with the Lizalfos outside of the cave. Look for it along the path that leads from Lanayru Wetlands into Zora's Domain.
You will need a Zora Spear in order to complete the Glory of the Zora Side Quest in Zora's Domain, in addition to 3 Diamonds, and 5 pieces of Flint.
Zora Spear Stats
"A Zora spear with a decayed point. It’s made of a water-resistant metal and yields a high attack power when it gets wet."
- Hyrule Compendium number: 422
- Base Damage: 6
- Passive Ability: Water Warrior
Due to the Zora Spear's passive "Water Warrior" ability, it makes a good weapon when fighting in watery or rainy areas such as West Necluda, the Lanayru Wetlands, or Faron. While the Zora Spear is wet - due to rain or other water sources - your attack power with the weapon will increase. This could make the Zora Spear a solid option for boss fights such as the boss at the end of the Water Temple, the Mucktorock.
