An engineer whose eccentric style adds a lot to his reputation as a wild genius.

He once helped Link from his research facility at the Akkala Ancient Teck Lab. Since then, he's moved to the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab to help Purah develop the Purah Pad. Robbie thinks he did much of the work on the device, so he's a bit grumpy that it's not named after him.

Seasoned Zelda players will remember Robbie from Breath of the Wild, where he let players craft unique Guardian Weapons.

In Tears of the Kingdom, you'll actually need to do some leg work during the main story mission, "Camera Work in the Depths," to find Robbie, as he has gone missing after going to the Depths.

Once you find him, he'll unlock the Purah pad's Camera function.

After completing the first part of the main story quest, "A Mystery in the Depths," talk to Robbie to fix his Hot-air balloon. Afterward, he'll get out of Lookout Landing and return to his lab in Hateno Village. From that point on, talk to Robbie so he can install upgrades to your Purah Pad.
